Arizona Wildcats great Terry Francona donates $1 million to baseball program – Arizona Daily Star

Terry Francona, middle, former Arizona Wildcat and current manager for the Cleveland Indians makes a joke after his phone rang during a press conference announcing that he has donated $1 million to the UA baseball team on Tuesday January 31, 2017. Ericka Barnes, right, interim athletic director, and Jay Johnson, UA baseball head coach sit beside him. The money will be used to construct an indoor hitting facility that will be named the Terry Francona Hitting Facility.
