Curt Schilling Removed From ESPN’s Baseball Coverage For Rest Of Season

Curt Schilling won’t appear on ESPN any time soon.

The network announced it has removed the former major league pitcher from its MLB coverage for the rest of season as a result of his tweet comparing the percentage of Muslims who are extremists to the percentage of Germans in 1940 who were Nazis.

“At all times during the course of their engagement with us, our commentators are directly linked to ESPN and are the face of our brand,” ESPN said in a statement. “We are a sports media company. Curt’s actions have not been consistent with his contractual obligations nor have they been professionally handled; they have obviously not reflected well on the company.

“As a result, he will not appear on ESPN through the remainder of the regular season and our Wild Card playoff game.”

Schilling originally was removed from the network’s Little League World Series coverage and last week’s “Sunday Night Baseball” game. He reportedly was set to return this Sunday, according to SI.com’s Richard Deitsch.

I’ve made $64,000 so far this year working online and I’m a full time student. I’m using an online business opportunity I heard about and I’ve made such great money. It’s really user friendly and I’m just so happy that I found out about it. Heres what I’ve been doing,,,,

So Brady is set free, ESPN takes it out on Schilling for doing what he has always done, speak his mind. But hey, ESPN, you keep on staying classy in reporting false reports, keeping Chris Carter around after what he said, and continue to make that slide into oblivion. I remember a time when you were a really good station for sports. Now it’s agenda, Jenner, and a buch of losers who hate ALL things Boston/New England.

  4. Rick Katze:

You need to be politically correct and not disrespect any number of groups unless it is in the list of groups adjudged to be deficient in correct thinking and then you can say anything you want.

  5. Bob Stevens:

And Chris Carter will continue to mentor young players in the ways of thuggery.

  6. Charlie Richardson:

    Like ESPN has morals

  7. Arnold Buck Cate:

What do you expect from a network that thinks the jenner is a hero , you stink espn!

  8. Peter Laitres:

ESPN essentially fires Curt Schilling for telling the truth about what Islam is doing around the world. The ISLAMIC STATE burning innocent non-Muslim people alive in cages, slicing their heads off and brutalizing millions of people somehow, in the liberal mind, doesn’t represent Islam. Not to mention the goal of Islamic nations to annihilate Israel, just like Hitler and the Nazis.
I guess Keith Olbermann’s ridiculous, hateful statements comparing a federal prosecutor to a Nazi was ok, and general hateful condescension and vilification of anyone he disagrees with, was no barrier to being rehired at ESPN.
How the left turns a blind eye to the dangers, and world conquest, of Islam is beyond me. Name me ONE Islamic country where there is freedom of speech and religion. There is none! The Islamic definition of peace is “convert to Islam and you’ll have peace.” Wow. Wake up America!

  9. Collin Mc Millan:

ESPN is a farce with double standards!
