CONOR McGREGOR gave an insight into his relentless workout routine as the UFC star looks to swap MMA with boxing.
The Irishman is a firm believer that hardwork beats talent as his intense training regime includes boxing, rowing, cycling, running and hardcore sparring.
McGregor shared the video on his Instagram account from his ‘Conor McGregor F.A.S.T. Conditioning‘ account.
He captioned the video: “My high performance training program is live NOW!
“Sign up and join me in the preparation of my next fight being announced very soon!”
The Notorious is teasing his followers with an announcement regarding his next fight, which could see him agree a mega fight with Floyd Mayweather.
‘Conor McGregor’s F.A.S.T Conditioning’ says their routine is a based on “three specific and personalised heart rate zones”.
The ‘Green Zone’, which is your aerobic threshold, is a comfortable heart rate, this is to help build your endurance.
Whilst the ‘Orange Zone’ is your anaerobic threshold – which is the maximum cruising heart rate you can continuously maintain.
But the final section is the ‘Red Zone’ and this is maximum effort and this intense approach is to build up your power.
The 28-year-year-old is offering a 12-week program, which available for beginner, intermediate and advanced athletes.
This all comes after McGregor’s hotel room in Aintree was in a state before he ‘hired specialists to clean up afterwards’.
The fighting riddle is one of the toughest movement riddles to crack. How to best time, position, angle and displace the body, which form and posture to use and when, what needs to be softened and what hardened, which systems to apply, what mindset, how to train the eyes to perceive small changes in the partner’s intention, synching and syncopating the rhythm of your opponent and more and more… I’ve learned a lot from my work with @thenotoriousmma in movement training and in discussions during prep for his last four fights. Will share some of the insights in the upcoming Movement Camp – our biggest yearly meeting next month. The application process is nearly over, go to the link in bio to apply if you are interested in the Movement approach, this event is not to be missed. Big thanks for incredible camera work and editing by @serpiconinja – a man of many talents. #movementculture #idoportal #conormcgregor #mc17 #movementcamp
