Entry List for the GEICO 500 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway is posted, 42 teams/drivers [for 40 spots] are listed.
36 teams with Charters are guaranteed to make the field. The rest need to make the field via qualifying / qualifying races / rules book (owners attempts/points).
Some of the drivers entered include: #7-Sadler*, #15-Joey Gase, #23-Gaulding, #33-JEarnhardt, #51-Hill*, #55-Sorenson*, #75-Gaughan*, #83-LaJoie*, #96-Kennington*
Drivers who currently do not drive for a team with a Charter and need to race into the field: #7-Sadler*, #51-Hill*, #55-Cope*, #75-Gaughan*, #83-LaJoie*, #96-Kennington*.
If all practices and qualifying are canceled, drivers who would miss the race (lowest open teams in owner points): #75-Gaughan, #96-Kennington.
If qualifying is rained out or canceled, open teams making the race are based combined practice speeds.

Christopher Bell driving for Joe Gibbs Racing in 7 XFINITY race: Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) announces today that Norman, Oklahoma native and young up-and-coming NASCAR star Christopher Bell will drive seven NASCAR XFINITY Series races during the 2017 season. The 22-year-old is currently running full-time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series for Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM).
