Japan beat Pennsylvania, 18–11, to win the Little League World Series on Sunday. Japanese teams have now won four of the last six championships.

The 29 combined runs are the most ever in a LLWS title game, breaking the previous record of 23

The Japanese team came from the Tokyo Kitasuna Little League, which has now won three LLWS championships in its history.

The Pennsylvania team, from the town of Lewisberry, was the first Keystone State team to reach the championship game since 1990. No Pennsylvania team has won the title since 1960.
